For Your Child's Teacher

Community-reviewedCommunity edition, August 2026

A page for the educator, meant to be handed across the table. Teachers see the grain: the particular pattern of a particular child, through a thousand small observations no instrument can capture, and that seeing is genuine knowledge, the most important educational resource in the building. The child who draws during math is not off-task; that is a mind exploring an intelligence the assessment does not measure. The page asks one thing of the teacher: tell one family a single sentence about what you see in their child that no assessment measures. One sentence at pickup can change a family's whole year.

Hand the page itself to the teacher; the partnership starts with that motion.
